When it comes to safety and security, Glambu is a bit of a letdown. It’s supposed to be an online dating app, but there are some major red flags when it comes to verifying users. To start with, they don’t have any kind of two-step verification process in place – so you can never really know who you’re talking too! On top of that, their system for fighting against bots and fake accounts seems pretty weak – I haven’t seen much evidence that they take this issue seriously at all.
What about the photos? Well unfortunately those aren’t manually reviewed either which means anyone could upload anything without consequence – not exactly reassuring if you ask me! And as far as privacy goes… well forget about it; from what I’ve read on their website there’s no guarantee your data won’t get shared or sold off somewhere else down the line (which would make me feel totally uncomfortable).
All in all then: Glambu isn’t looking like such a great option when it comes to safety and security measures. If these issues were addressed properly then maybe we’d have something here worth considering…but until then my advice would be steer clear!
