User Profiles
Well, I recently tried out Meetwild and let me tell you – it was a wild ride! The user profiles are definitely public, so anyone can view them. Unfortunately, there’s no way to set up a custom bio or even hide your location info from other users. Plus the site doesn’t give any indication of how far away someone is from you either which makes it hard to figure out if they’re worth pursuing in the first place.
As for benefits with premium subscriptions? Eh…not really much going on there either; nothing that made me feel like shelling out money anyway! In fact all I got were some extra "likes" here and there but nothing special enough to make me want more than what comes free with basic membership.
And speaking of things not being great…the fake profile problem is pretty bad too! There seemed to be an endless supply while I was using this service – almost as if they just keep popping up everywhere like weeds in summertime (yuck!). So yeah…definitely something Meetwild needs work on ASAP before people start running for the hills faster than rabbits during hunting season (or whatever idiom works best).
All-in-all though my experience wasn’t totally horrible because at least their search feature worked well and allowed filtering by age/location etc., plus messaging between members felt secure since only verified accounts could contact each other which kept spamming down low – thank goodness!! But still overall…I wouldn’t recommend this dating site unless major improvements happen soon otherwise its gonna stay stuck in limbo forevermore without ever getting off ground zero again anytime soon ya know?!
